WHAT HAPPY PARENTS & CAMPERS ARE SAYING?
The coaches are really nice and responsible with the kids, making them feel confident, engaged and also glad to attend the camp.
The JBA team run a fantastic program. Even from the initial enquiries & communication, right through to the camp, they show professionalism, empathy towards our child's needs and an overall a welcoming introduction to basketball. Not only did your team talk and teach the skills of basketball but also educated the kids around respect and team spirit which is just as important if not most important part of the game.
Thank you and we look forward to the next camp.
The coaches are friendly, professional and knowledgable. They bring out the best in each kid. Mark not only had a great time at camp, but his skills improved leaps and bounds. He's already looking forward to next camp!
Today my kids participated in the Junior Academy Basketball camp at Balmain and absolutely loved the day. They learnt new skills, improved on their skills in-depth, had fun, and got to play games. The coaches were so helpful and friendly and could really relate to the kids. My kids have already asked me to join them up for more days next holidays. So we will definitely be back for more, not to mention the exception; Customer Service from Richie, who always returned my calls and catered for my kids and their friends needs at very short notice.
This was a brilliantly run sports camp. The customer service shown by Richie and the JBA team was first class. He really cares about each child having a positive camp experience and I was impressed with the report card sent after camp detailing the skills achieved and suggestions for further improvement. The ration of coaches to kids was great and Myles, who had only really played basketball in the playground at school, really enjoyed his basketball camp experience.
Since attending the camp, Sarah's confidence as a player has grown tremendously - her team is winning every week by a really big margin and she is scoring the vast majority of the points in the team! She is happy because she is with her friend Jessica (who was also at your camp) and they are combining very well during the games and shooting lots of hoops!
James had never been to a basketball camp before but he ended up really enjoying the camp and loved being in the same group as his friends.
Matthew really, really liked the camp. And he says he liked it so much he would definitely go again! I’m just thrilled and I have to tell you that he and his friend Henry say it is the best camp they have ever been to! So well done to you and your team and I hope you are even more successful in any up and coming camps.
As the Mum, I was thrilled to hear on the last day the things that I know are important for the kids to learn from you as you closed the camp, namely;
Congratulate all the kids
Be grateful that you got to attend, this is a privilege so thank your Mums and Dads!
Thanks for everything Richie. He really enjoyed it and we hope to see you again.
Cheers
Making new friends was the best bit and now when I'm playing basketball at school I can do things I couldn't believe I couldn't do before. I get more shots in, I can dribble the ball through my legs and do other tricks. People want me on their team now, up front to score more points.
My daughter's favourite part of the camp was the final day where she was able to put together all the skills she had learnt during the course of the camp. The biggest improvement was in her confidence and ability as a player.
I was initially concerned that Indigo would feel uncomfortable and awkward as she didn't know anyone at the camp. But she was fine, everyone was really friendly and she loved it. The best part of her was the people. I would recommend this camp to anybody as you were very professional and organised. It was very well run and I felt Indigo was left in safe hands.
